Café PositHIV Berlin, Germany

Café PositHIV is a non-commercial, social project and a meeting place for humans with HIV and AIDS, their friends and relations and people agreeing with them. It was established in late 1989 in Berlin and opened in early 1990. The project is mainly sponsored by Berliner Aidshilfe (BAH), a social association on HIV/AIDS, but it is independent and fully managed by its volunteers.

Come in for a drink or for some food or just for a cup of coffee or tea - We are always glad to welcome guests from all over the world - but please contact us just in time to give you the best service and attention! Mail to  webmaster[at]cafeposithiv.aidshilfe.de or call ++4930-2168654 at opening hours for meal reservations (necessary only for groups of 5 people or more) or to have the time to introduce the project to you.

Our opening hours (CET - Central European Time* Germany: Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 3.00 p.m. (15:00h, afternoon) to 11.00 p.m. (23:00h, night), Wednesday from 1.00 p.m. (13:00h lunch - we serve a meal) to 11.00 p.m. (23:00h), Saturday from 6.00 p.m. (18:00h, we serve a meal one hour later) to open end.
Closed on mondays.  Please note: We regularly serve a meal every Wednesday 1.00 p.m., Friday 6.00 p.m., Saturday 7.00 p.m., On other days ask for a small snack (served when available / announced).

Our rooms and toilets are accessible for wheelchairs.
